About METRO Markets

METRO Markets is the B2B online marketplace of METRO AG, selling to hotels, restaurants, caterers and other businesses on metro.de, metro.fr and metro.it and on makro.es, makro.pt and makro.nl. How it connects

API credentials from your seller account.

Before you start

  • An active METRO Markets seller account, signed in as a user who may grant API access.
  • A Sellergoo account on a plan that includes this channel — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
  • Permission to create API keys in your METRO Markets account.

Connect METRO Markets step by step

  1. 1

    Open the connection

In Sellergoo, go to Settings → Connections and find the METRO Markets card.

  2. 2

    Enter the credentials

Press Connect and fill in the fields below — the table says where METRO Markets shows each one.

  3. 3

    Save

Press Save. Sellergoo checks the credentials with the channel right away, so a typo shows up immediately rather than at the first sync.

  4. 4

    First sync

The card turns Connected once the channel answers. The first sync runs right away or with the next scheduled run (every 30 minutes); recent days arrive first, and the dashboards fill in while older history loads.

What Sellergoo can update

Sellergoo only reads from METRO Markets; it sends nothing back.

Good to know

  • METRO's API reports no commission, so fees are estimated at the rate you enter on the card — your category rate of 10, 13 or 15 % on the gross price including shipping.
  • The €49 monthly membership is booked as an expense from your first METRO order month; the free first months METRO grants new sellers are not deducted.
  • Each order records whether the buyer is a business or a consumer.
